Recognising - Rewarding - Inspiring

The countdown has begun once again to find the very best tourism businesses in Pembrokeshire. This year we’ll recognise, reward and be inspired by them at the Pembrokeshire Tourism Awards which will be held at Meadow House Park, Amroth on Thursday 7th November 2019.

As part of a continued investment strategy by Celtic Holiday Parks, Meadow House has recently undergone a complete re-design of its restaurant, bar and guest reception area and the result is fantastic.

This is a self nomination awards system for tourism businesses to be able to enter themselves. Unlike public vote awards, entries are judges purely on the strength of the nomination received from the business. There are a few changes in store to the entry format this year so anyone wishing to nominate their business is strongly advised to read the full terms and conditions before submitting a nomination that way you’ll be able to make the most out of the opportunity to shine.

Winners of our awards may also have the opportunity to be judged against other winners from across the region and in the national awards which will be held in 2020. This year there is no direct entry for the regional or national awards, instead qualifying winners from local awards throughout Wales will compete.

For our awards we’ll be shining a spotlight on excellence in Pembrokeshire. Working to a new scoring system, the panel of independent judges will determine a shortlist of finalists before a second panel of independent judges review the shortlisted entries and add their marks. Those businesses which shine the most in their online entries and who gain the highest number of marks will receive superb awards at the glittering tourism awards ceremony in November.

With some additional categories, new entry criteria, plenty of media and social media support for finalists and sponsors the awards will once again focus attention on the very best quality, accessible, innovative and sustainable tourism.

Representatives of the judging panel will only visit the finalists in food categories this year so the pressure is on to make sure your online nomination is spot on. At these visits they will look for evidence of provenance, presentation, great tasting food, insight into how you inform customers of provenance and sense of place.

Any tourism business in Pembrokeshire can nominate themselves in one or more categories. You do not have to be a member of Pembrokeshire Tourism to enter – Our awards are inclusive and open to all.

Please read the terms and conditions before nominating your business in any category.
